Nichols & Co., Springfield Mass. 1882 A very interesting imperial octavo sized survey of American historical events from 1776-1876 including important the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the discovery of gold in California, the assassination of Lincoln, and the Civil War. Profusely illustrated with wonderful engravings. Binding shows wear and some minor losses, internally the book is tight and in very good condition.
